Description
This precision-machined pin jack is the cylindrical socket contact that carries the current at an EV charging terminal. The machined body and bore accept the mating pin with a firm grip, and the part is supplied as standard in silver plating over brass or T2 copper. The photographed form is a precision-machined cylindrical socket contact with the bore prepared to seat the pin squarely, so insertion stays true across repeated mating. It is produced for the full family of charging connectors, so one jack form carries across regional charging platforms.
Specifications
Standard pin jack sizes are 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm; 3mm; 6mm. Plating is silver and material is brass or T2 copper; both plating and material can be customized according to customer requirements. Because the contact is machined rather than stamped, bore geometry and wall section can be adjusted for a specific mating pin.
Range and Applications
The jack is linked to Electric Vehicles, where it forms the current-carrying socket half of the charging pair. Alongside it, industry-use connector jacks are available in sizes 1.5/3/5.7/6/8/9.07/10/12/14/15/16/18/20/22mm -28mm, with individual current levels customized to customer needs. For quick shielding interfaces the company also supplies shielding springs in 35mm2, 50mm2, 75mm2, 90mm2 cross-sections. The same jack form is offered across the charging connector families, so a single bore design can serve several regional charging programs and hold one part number.
